Oh February, you win

At the beginning of February, I looked at my calendar and saw the many things ahead.

But I was determined to conquer. 

Well people, February conquered me. That is right, February wore me slap out.  No way was it going to be worst than December, but boy was I wrong. 

February is supposed to be a short month. How could it possible be that bad. I have decided it is one of my least favorite months. So much hype goes into February about Valentine's Day... one of my least favorite holidays. It seems like so much build up and then the 14th comes, and poof, it is gone.

Oh, and the two challenges I was going for. Failed. Yeap, I did not finish the drill on the photo challenge or only eating out once a week. Life got busy and the next thing I know, I found myself eating some Chick-Fil-A (totally comfort food).

But, I did stick to no buying clothes in February. But that is officially over. I could not stand all the summer and spring clothes staring at me any longer. So many cute things!! Since we did not have a real winter, I feel like I have exhausted all my work clothes. I have attempted to make summer/fall items last into the winter. You know the, throw-on-a-cardigan-with-any-kind-of-top moments. Yeap, that was me all winter.

February, seriously wore me out. I do not remember the last time I was that exhausted. It reminded me of my junior year of college and I rather not experience that again. The fact that a massage was necessary because my neck was so tight, pretty much sums it up.

However, I did keep running. Running actually kept me sane. I realized that after a long day, running on the treadmill is amazing! One night I was so tired, but I felt like I could have kept running for a while.  Who knew.

February, you did conquer, but that is okay. March is here, and I am ready.

Oh and the 5K is this month. Oh boy!
